Filtering web analytics is a way to prevent unhelpful data from appearing in your CRM. For example, Google "crawlers" may create records of visits that may seem as though they originated from a live person but are actually the by-product of an automated process. If you know a domain or IP address that creates these records via an automatic process, you can filter it out with these filter records. That way you can focus solely on web analytics that have stemmed from interactions real people had with your site. This will filter out Page Views, Visits, and Form Capture Posted Forms and filtered records are not stored by Click.
IMPORTANT: You cannot filter out your own Domain or no web traffic will come into your system at all.

Setting Up Web Filters
To create a filter, navigate to Settings > Filters.
Then click New.
You can assign the record a name to help you remember what it pertains to, then choose to input either an IP Address or Domain and then the specific address. Once you save, any web tracking data created by the address in the filter will automatically not be displayed.
If you're filtering out a domain, you'll want to remove the beginning "http://" or "www" and just have the domain name. For example, google.com.
Here is an example of how to filter out a Googlebot using an IP Address:
