To add an attachment to an email, you can follow the steps below. Please note that the current max file size limit is 3 MB due to a Microsoft limitation. Once an update to this limit is generally available, this file size may increase.
Step 1: Make sure your Sequence has been saved and then create a Auto Email or Manual Email step.
Step 2: Add some content to the email step and make sure to Save the step before adding your attachment.
Step 3: Click on the attachment button and choose your file.
That is all that is required. Your email will include that file as a normal email attachment.
Once attached, there are additional options that you can use if you would like.
The options include:
- The cloud icon lets you upload it to the cloud and link to the attachment.
- The pop-out icon downloads the attachment.
- The X icon removes the attachment.
If you choose to upload to the cloud, then you will need to put the link the email somewhere. A link icon will appear after uploading the file. Put your cursor in the email to select where you want the link to go and press the link icon and it will insert it. You may also select some existing text to link to instead of putting the full URL.
